Boom! JL Audio 10W7 in my passthrough

Very nice install... did you install it yourself?
My 1 question is does your back panel near the rear winshield rattle at all when it's cranked up? I have 3 x 8" JL's in my truck and I get a little rattle in the rear, but I notice it most when it's very hot outside. If it's cool - it's less obvious.

I have the 500/1 and with EQ Bass Boost I can already drive the sub (10w7) to distortion levels in my setup.
And in your setup you have a wierd height to length to depth ratio on the interior volume of the box. The farther away a box is from a perfect cube shape, the more it doesn't exactly behave like it should. So you might think u made the box to 1.25ft^3 spec, but its not gonna act like that, wave propogation is gonna be wierd.
Just a warning is all.

Maybe you need more power to not distort. :D The reason a have it on a 1000/1 is because I had the amp for awhile, and it was used in my protege to power 2 12W6V2's. Actually it's better to stay away from a perfect cube. It may produce standing waves, but not always. I got that from JL's website, and www.the12volt.com. All I know is that it sounds alot better than the 10W6V2 that I had, and it was what I expected. Internal volume is internal volume.
