Bose factory head unit ground

Hello

Does anybody know the location of the ground for a Bose factory head unit?

I'm having a slight issue with engine whine when the "EX" sound source is selected used for sound for my CarPC. I'm using the Car2PC-MAZ as an Aux in connected to CarPC with a 3.5MM plug going into a ground loop isolator first. I plan on grounding the factory head unit to the same ground point as my DC to DC regulator that powers my CarPC.

Note the engine whine only affects the CarPC the whine increases as I accelerate, CD and radio do NOT have any engine whine.

I saw this post which does list a ground cable. Is it the large black cable pictured? Can anyone confirm this.

Thanks
