Brake Lights Help.
So i went about adding a 4th brake light to my 8. i no sum say its ricey and what not but ya dont really care i like the look. so i tapped into the left brake light of the car and for some reason it works fine yet wen ever i press the brake, the green lights brake comes on and the radio backlight aswell as the gauges backlight comes on....wtf? why is it doing this and how do i make it so it doesnt do this lol.

Are the standard brake lights single or dual filament? If they're dual (brake+parking) then I would guess you tapped the brake and parking wires rather than brake and ground.
If that's not it I don't know what whacky thing you did. Maybe nicked a wire.

i just tapped the wires that go strate out of the brake light....theres 3 of them...i imagine they are 1 neg 1 pos and then 1 remote? wen only connecting the power nothing work but with power and the possible remote it works....im confused and dont really understand whats up lol...been driving with it like this for a few days now...is this a major strain on the battery?

My first suggestion is not to try electrical mods on your car without knowing what you're doing.
My second suggestion is to read my previous post. I'm pretty sure that's what you did. The 3 wires are ground, park and brake. If you've got a multimeter I would suggest testing the leads with the parking lights on, and then with the brakes on if you can.
