Broken keyless entry

My keyless entry, just isn't working. I had the batteries changed 2ce, and it doesn't work. I'd like to buy a new one but I am unaware of the way it works. Can anyone help me out or link me to a previous post?? Thanks

Both of mine went out even with fresh batteries and a reprogram they wouldnt come back. Dealer replaced them under warranty but I also got a 05 key from ebay. Wish they would have replaced with 05's but oh well.

You only need one key for the Key fob program. you need 2 for the key itself programming.

I have the same problem. about every 5 months I take my car to Mazda to get the FOB reciever replaced, which seems to work. Everytime I get a new reciever the FOB works.
