Broken stock CD player
Lately my stock in-dash cd player has been having some skipping issues. Nothing big, I thought, maybe its just a rough couple of CDs. Then one day (in the middle of a long road trip) it just quit working on me. The radio and such still works but everytime I load a brand new or old CD it gives me the error message "CHECK DISC." Oh, i checked it alright....nothing was wrong.
Any ideas on what i should do or what might be wrong. If it turns out it will cost an arm and a leg to replace it, i might just get the ipod interface...but wont be able to afford even that until after the new year begins. (FM Transmitter here i come).
My factory warranty has expired but i have the top end extended warranty. Would the dealer cover this?
(I did a search and found nothing :\ )
"If you cant afford the gas, you bought the wrong car. If you cant afford the oil changes, you bought the wrong car. If you cant afford the tires, you bought the wrong car."
I cant afford cd player repairs because im too busy paying for GAS, OIL, AND TIRES!!!
