Bump!
Has anyone tried out the Prosport EVO gauges? I'm a little leary on these, as none of them offer any peak warning. Is there any way to install a peak? They look nice though, and seem to match really well with the interior.

N/A users are more for looks, so Peak warnings may not be an overriding consideration when purchasing gauges. But, Peak warnings are a MUST for certain FI applications, imo. AFR and boost, for example. Especially during tuning periods.

@stinksauce, any updates on your setup?

@Hesselrode, I'm also curious, as that would be a good feature to offer (ie- bright white during day, dim color by night). I know there are gauges that change brightness, but unsure of color

The lotek pod description says it attachs over your existing center dash panel. Does this mean that there is no cutting involved in the installation? I'm confused.

you have to cut into the existing panel to get the wires and gauges to fit, then place the lotek.

from what ive read.. it looks like it just goes on top, either by glue or screws. I personally would buy a spare panel from a crashed rx8 so i dont mess up my original piece, especially if you decide to sell the car down the road.

RSW 60mm 3 gauge pod. I believe Aipex8 and I are the only one's in the US that have it

The last pic with the amber lights is his. He is running ProSport Halo series. I have ProSport Premium. Both series light up white and amber.

Aipex8 is using 52mm gauges and if you look close at his pic you can see he is using a spacer to mount the gauges.

More details here.

I just bit the bullet and ordered prosport evo gauges (fuel press, oil/water temp).

I will give a full review, once I have the opportunity to install and test. I have had a member pm me regarding these, and it sounded promising.

I have always loved that pod. I may have to bite the bullet and get it. The Lotek is ok but that looks OEM. How much was it again?

Here you can see my Good Box, and gauges in the Lotek

Here is a video from when I was having issue with my Prosport boost gauge. I ended up just replacing it after going back and forth with Prosport. They tested it and said it was fine but it's whatever, the gauges are cheap to replace and are pretty accurate from what I see.

Ha.. Prosport Gauges ... I have had MANY issues with Prosport gauges. Well their evo gauges i have in my RX8 have been great so far with no issues. HOWEVER the pefromance series gauges in my subaru have been a nightmare. Long story short.. They have been going out for me simply by sitting in my car on very hot days.. haha.. Yes I have sent them back multiple times and for some reason the gauge has been bad each time.. I have replaced senders, harnesses, and gauges. Connections have been sound and they would go bad due to heat.. Anytime my subaru set for long periods of time in the sun.. gauges got silly.. So now on hot days.. I have to take a towel and cover them or when I turn my car on they are not working properly.. Another funny thing is... I have had 2 out of the 6 in my Subaru start acting funny due to the sun. But after a few days of keeping the inside of my car cool (I got a visor for the windshield) the gauges stopped acting up?? I have spoke to Prosport they have been very helpful in helping me with both warranty and Non warranty service.. But they have No Idea why that happens.. But any how.. that is the headache i have had with my prosport Performance gauges.. (Oh i even had to say the hell with it and go to a mechanical prosport boost gauge and it works great no issues but it does make a funny buzzing noise under boost???) As for me... The Prosport EVO gauges have been great so far no issues.. But i just got them about 6 months ago in another six months I wonder if they will still be alive..

Was just wondering has anyone used the corksport sensor adapter to run oil temp and oil pressure?

CORKSPORT Rotary Banjo Bolt

From what I understand you can only fit one sensor on this adapter but is there a 1 into 2 adapter that would allow you to run two?

Make sense?

Yes, shadycrew used the Corksport banjos with no problem, just put oil pressure on the return banjo and oil temp on the oil pump outlet banjo.

To have an accurate oil temp, the sensor needs to be in the oil pan, no heat soak from surrounding metal parts.

In the oil pan? Is this what you were referring to 9K?
