@9k, while dying it most of the spare strands came out so it doesn't shed and has softened up nicely so no need for brushing.
@atwood, I'll snag a pic and post it later...it looks purple-ish because of the boot being beige before I started so i'm gonna run it through another (more concentrated) dye cycle...just haven't done it yet.

That dyed black boot looks sick! As in cool lol. And i like how the **** is completely flush to the boot instead of having that lip at the bottom like mine.

That's the site where I got them, the guy is actually a local that gets the ***** from a guy in Nashville (they weight 545 grams) and the boot is sewn by the guy's grandmother.
