Can I make my navi system play dvds too?
Is it possible to have the built in navi system play dvds too? Also, where do you buy those map dvds?

1) Not just by putting DVD movies into the OEM drive and hitting buttons. You need to upgrade/rewire. It's a chore, but many have done it.

2) Your car should have come with one. It likely came with the first map disk (dated 2003) so you can buy the upgrades from NAVTEC for $149. There are some Sticky threads on this in this same sub-forum.

You need to add the video switcher and a mobile DVD player. I believe there is a "light" version of the switcher now. All in all, its about a $500 miniumum to watch DVD, play xbox, etc.
