AU Can you adjust the Face / Footwell ratio on the Auto HVAC?

The car is an Australian 2006 LSE with Auto Climate control so the interface to the HVAC is a little different to the US cars but I assume the actual HVAC system behind the interface is the same. Generally speaking I'm very happy with the RX-8 heating and cooling but I find that when its set to face and footwell, almost all air goes to the footwell - which I find annoying - can this be adjusted? Presumably there's some servo controlled flap somewhere....

Well, go here and see what you can find?

Not sure it will help, but maybe you will find what you need, or get some clue????

Yeah, figured it might not help much.
Somewhere you should be able to find a pic of the flapper valve(I will call it) and a linkage to it, but I don't know where. Only thing I saw was the "Airlow mode actuator", or something along those lines, but wasn't sure that was it........and didn't look very long.

Guess I was hoping that someone who knew would chime in!
