Can you change the dash light backgroung color?

My radio **** fell off and I noticed that there were 3 orange lights behind it. I have a Winning Blue 8 and I would like to change the background color of the center buttons, radio, ect... from the current orange to a blue.

Is it possible? If so, how easy or hard is it to do?

Thanks for the picture. My next question is which part or parts are the lights that I will need to replace?

Bulbs......

The orange bulbs are the smallish white dots on the green printed circuit in the pic. Looks to be about 30 of the little buggers.

To get a look at them, pull the "smile" off the bottom of the circular radio unit, it just pulls straight out. Two of the bulbs will be in there, one on each side.

those little LEDs are going to be a PAIN to remove and resolder...that being said if I had a spare HU I'd definitely try it...just need to find out the LED specs first...I'd probably replace them with purple :p I mean blue :D

I have a WB as well and was looking to do this...and it looks like it would be a pain in the ***. I also wanted to replace the needles in the guages to blue and the top screen with the radio information to blue, but I think that would be impossible without entirely replacing it.

anyone figure out how to do the steering wheel leds? I know how to change the ones in the gauges and radio I've done it in an 07 eclipse and they use SMD leds, def a pain in the *** to do though. Be patient and test them after you do a couple to make sure they are lit correctly

There was a guy on here about 4 years ago who swapped all his red's with blues. He had to special order them from like Japan I think. Said it was a HUGE pain in the ***.

He was good at soldering and stuff too, so for someone who wasn't I'm not sure I'd recommend it.
