car shows -> battery
just curious... say you go to a car show and you're showing off your neons/playing music is there anything you guys do to prevent it from killing your battery sicne your car is parked and not driving?

it depends on the rules of the show, if its an indoor show, many will require you to have below a 1/4 tank of gas, or some similar low level, and will also not allow you to run your motor, both for safety reasons.
Also many car shows make you disconect your battery, again for safety.
Ask the organizer, some shows will allow you to 'rent' power for a small fee, and connect you to a 12v transfomer, so you can run all your stereo/tv/lights from their power grid.
that has been my experience
