Carbon Fiber Sun Visor Inserts

Carbon Fiber Sun Visor Inserts
Well, they say that necessity is the mother of all invention. That is what brings us here. As I sat in traffic last weekend, I tried to use the sun visor, to shade my eyes a bit. I have always found them to be a bit useless, these sun visors they gave us. Aside form the nice slot for your work ID, or gate card, they really are just there to look nice. They don't really block the sun, and if you turn them down far enough, you can't actually see thru them, to see the traffic signal ahead, which is what I am told the holes were for.
So, I decided to fill in the pockets that are on either side of the mirror housing. I decided to use Carbon Fiber, to give it a nice sporting feel, and I plan on one day getting around to the door bezels, and B-Pillar trim pieces.
THe attached pictures are the fruits of my labor, let me know what you guys and gals think. I think they turned out quite nice. :D

I would have agreed...if my fookin visor didn't break out of nowhere. I simply pulled it down to block the sun and suddenly it just cracked and I have to duct tape it to the roof like a ghetto hoodrat.

As for putting a screen in the visor, I am not into that, no TV or nav in my car, I have no need, or desire to do such a thing.
And for looking factory, I dont know of a single factory car, that has flip down visors with monitors in them. If I am wrong, I would like to know what car it is.

It is flexible to an extent, it will not wrap around anything, but can be easily cut with a sharp pair of scissors.
