Carputer shutdown and startup suggestions?

check out mp3car.com you realize you can't be without a opus
as for turning the computer on and off guess what I did
I use my remote that unlocks the car and locks the car so for a remote on this avoids booting my xp box which takes 30 seconds not 3 to 4 minutes.... I am running a 2ghz . It is very cool to have it setup this way but here is the problem you run into if you don't have a opus. You remote unlock your car your about 10 yards from it.. then you get in start your car when you turn over the engine it kills the power to your carpc and you restart but if you have a opus it will survive a crank. It also doesn't produce all the line noise a power inverter will. This is also good if you want to boot your car pc from your room at home so you can log into it remotely and add new songs. I haven't done this because my idea works but rummor has it that using a flash card it doesn't boot anyfaster really... and they are expensive the viable option now seems to be BART-PE which is basicly (winPE )
