Change bulbs on puddle lights??

Yeah......hang on!
Check back in a few.
Oh.....FYI, we don't get them stock in the US, at least for Series one, but I do have some instructions to help and should be a good guide.
Let me go find them!
If I remember correctly, it should be as easy as popping the mirror out!
Of course this assumes by "Puddle Lights", this means you are talking about lights mounted in the side view mirror housings?

Okay, if it is not too big, I attached a pdf from someone that used to sell them on here.
I think you will only need steps 2, 3, and 4. Then you should see the socket. Again, you may be a Euro spec'd car, so take these for what they are worth. GUessing bulb would then just pull out of the socket, slap the new LED in, and ppo the mirror glass back in.
Remember.................these instructions are FAR beyond what you need. All you want is access to the socket, which should just be popping the mirror out if I recall.
Let me know if that's all you have to do!

I've changed the bulbs out a few times on my aftermarket puddle lights (US doesn't get them from Mazda)
I simply swivel the mirror back
firmly grab the mirror itself and pull the glass until it pops out. (it's held in by 3 clips so pull straight out and you'll be fine)
reach in, twist out the bulb holder, place in new bulb
as for putting the glass back in, line it up and push the center of it in to clip in the largest part.
after that, push near the corners and you'll hear a click once the clip goes in.
shouldn't take more then a few minutes.

Hey
would you know by any chance what type of bulb the puddle lights use ?
from what i've experienced when changing my interiors is that all these bulbs were T10
I just wanna know what type they are ... because if they are T10's, i can just go to a local store and buy some cheap (they have 25% off right now = winning!) and wont have to wait for my parcel to arrive ... i live in Australia, so anything ordered from US takes 15 days Minimum !
and express postage will cost more than the bulbs themselves lol
thanks in advance
