Changing the fog lights and running lights

I'd like all my lights to be a bright white light just like the HID headlights. Has anyone attempted to change the running light bulbs and the fog light bulbs? I was wondering what types of bulbs they are for both.

the light closest to the mazda badge in front use the small wedge bulbs the same bulb that lights up your back license plate. I change mine it white to match the hid. Also the foglights are H11 bulbs

how were you able to change them? i looked in there and it looks really tight...did you have to remove the front wheel well covers like it says in the manual?

i also checked the fog lights and my front air dam blocks the front while the radiator blocks the back...i don't think they can be replaced easily

ok the lights in the front closest to the mazda badge are hard to remove but can be done I already changed mine. Don't touch the wheel well, pop the hood and take the battery cover and ecu cover off and then you can get those bulbs out. The foglights are not to hard either. The foglight on the passenger side you can just use your hand to disconnect it. However the foglight on the driver side is harder and I haven't taken it out yet because I'm waiting to get the H11 bulbs to replace the stock foglights first.

it may just be the picture, but it still looks a little yellow to me...how does the "whiteness" compare to the HIDs?

also, will these work for the foglights?

The light looks really good next to the hid, I know the picture suxs but it looks so much better in person. As far as the foglights that ebay item is exactly what we need for the foglights. I'm glad you showed me that

well you can probably find them cheaper elsewhere, i just did a real quick search for "H11" and that's the first thing i found...

plus these are used for headlights...you mean to say that our foglights require headlight bulbs?

PS - i'm planning on changing the clear corner lights as well...i think i want all the lights (except high beams) to be white...

EDIT: here are some eBay links for the lights:

Clear corners (194)

Fog Lights (H11)

I don't know the bulb size of the ones closest to the Mazda badge...

yes, h11 can be used for headlights but for our car they are used as foglights. I had H3 bulbs for my civic foglights and headlights

ok, what are the bulb numbers for that little round light nearest the Mazda Emblem?

I understand that the fog lights are H11.

dome light is inside car and parking lights are the foglights, corners by your rims and inner small light by your mazda badge in front of car

FINALLY! got those suckers in...ok, this is what needs to be done...you have to unscrew 3 screws from under the car...they keep that plastic guard in place...1 is a plastic screw and the other 2 are metal...you don't need to take the entire thing off, just enough to get your hand in there...i suggest you wait until the car is cool as you may brush up against some really hot pipes back there...

then you can basically reach straight up, undo the connector and twist the H11 out...it's REAL easy once you know what to do, which is go from under the car...i tried vehemently going from the side of the foglight to the top but it's damn near impossibly as you'd have to have really small hands and wrists

i'm still waiting for my 194's to change the parking lights and the corner lights but i can already tell it looks A LOT better when all the lights are bright white...well, except if you have a yellow car then amber is feasible but not on a black car

will post pics once i change the other bulbs...thanks mikeb for all your help...much appreciated
