Chapparel with Velocity Red?

Chapparel with Velocity Red?
Ordering a velocity red real soon. Thought I had my mind made up on black interior. Saw a red with chapparel yesterday. Thought it looked awesome. Does anyone else feel the same way?

My dealer has one like that in the showroom. I liked Chaparral online, but after getting inside, I had mixed feelings. My wife hated it. I personally think the black/red interior is much better. Ultimately, it's your view every day so get inside, look around and go with your gut.
BTW, my 8's interior is black/yellow, so take this with a couple grains of salt.

I love my chapparal and black combo, but I don't think it would look great with the Velocity Red... a little clashing. After seeing DMENAC's VR with black leather, I think that's the best look (for red).

I have the black/chapparel with Velocity Red and it looks awesome. Black/red would get a bit tiresome, a bit to flamey looking. And believe me when it comes time to sell, I don't beleive the seat color will make or break the deal. The overall car package and mileage will do it. My 8 is loaded, every option except the nets/mats in the trunk. All black is just to, well plain.

It's really a matter of taste, but since you're asking for our opinion, I think the brown is pretty hideous myself. But you know what, it's your car, you should get what you like, forget what we think.

I have been debating that similar option. I want a velocity red, but the dealer up here only has one with the black/red. It really looks cool, but in say 5-10 years, will I still like it? A lot of versions of my current car have alcantra inserts that are color matched, bright blue, red, yellow, "silver" (more like white) and tehy still look really good after 4-5 years of ownership. In the end it is personal preference like others have said. I have only seen web clippings of the chapparel and it does not look too bad, although have yet to see it in real life. I'd say it coudl be a good mix. Not as bland/plain/conventional as the black/black, but not as bright/loud/sporty as the black/red. Curently I'd be all for it, but if I didn't like it I'd go reb/black.

I really liked this in the Titanium and thought I would in the red, but with the different grays inside it started to look too busy to me. I even had the car pick out and went to buy it but changed to the red/black. Glad I did but I still like the classy look of the chapparel.

thanks for the input and the pics. This interior/exterior choice is driving me crazy. I love the red, but wonder if it is too hot! All day long I have been thinking about the titanium with chapparel, but I always come back to the red. No matter how hard I try, I just am not that fired up about the titanium.
