Cheaper Sirius Install Option
Now this only would only work for a Sirius satelite radio, no ipods or mp3 players, and I would assume XM has the same accesory I just haven't searched their site to see. For only 29.99( from circuit city, 30.99 from best buy, 19.99,pay for shipping from sirius.com) I was able to plug in my sirius radio and get it working in my car. The product is the "fm direct adapter"(product link) sirius is the maker of the product. Its basically a Y - input adapter for the cable coming from our Rx8s antenna and an included fm out cable from the radio and attaches them to the single radio input on the back of our stereo. Simple install diagram is included and can be found on the above link. Much cheaper than aux-in/ pie adapters that I read about on here. The adapter still runs on your radio through the fm stereo option, so version # of your stereo is not important. The quality is sub cd quality but still definately good enough to turn up to high volume #s. I have driven around with no noticeable interference from the fm stations, That I got from the standard built in wireless fm feature. So for 30$$ I am definately happy with the quality of the audio, and would reccomend it to sirius users who dont want to pay the 100$$ + options with aux in cables.
