your post read more like you heard 2 weeks, then assumed 6-8. No big deal, was just confusing to me is all. Well I've not heard back from this site yet on setting up a group buy type deal, so I'll try contacting other mods/admins until I find whoever it is that handles this stuff now. I'll revisit my general Metra harassment this week as well and see how things are going with them, hang in there peoples, these will be out soon and with any luck I can try and save us a couple of bucks on them 
I am gone on the 24th coming back the 4th or something. if you do the group buy during that time keep me in plz!

Yeah definitely don't pay the $1600 crutchfield wants. These units normally have around 40-50% margin.

Update from metra
On Friday we installed 2 kits in vehicles and are testing the electronic portion of the kit. As long as we have no hiccups we should go into production and be shipping in 2-3 weeks time.

I'm really hoping I can get this installed before sevenstock.

spoke with installers the other day they said that either next week or the week after they should be getting these and shipping the preorders, cant wait, they need to hurry up already lol
