Thanks. Than I will get it on-line shop.
I just wanna see the real thing in case I need to buy other stuffs for fitting my in-dash carputer.

oh ok, yeah you wont be able to see it in person for a while, unless someone on here that lives close to you gets it installs it then you could see it if you drive to them, other then that for seeing it in person before you buy it probably wont be possible for a few months maybe

That was just speculation on the first few pages. Read through the entire thread and you would know that they display functionality is kept, you can add your own text to the display, plus the fit should be better than the corksport. Not to mention a cost of possibly 1/3 of the corksport.

There's a nice huge picture on the first page. It describes everything. I can't believe you missed it.

Ever since I installed the Corksport kit, my temp display has been worthless...delayed readings instead of actual realtime readings...but that's just one man's experience...might be a fluke.

Don't respond to posts made in June... we've already established that the metra kit keeps amb. temp. display.

I've had no problems with delayed readings. Not really sure how you would even notice a delayed reading unless it's maybe 60 minutes delayed. lol

Even if you have a cold air intake (which I do) your intake temperature is not the same as the outside temperature. It is normally 2-10 degrees F higher (with a CAI). However the AP should be able to pull the "Ambient Temp." from the ODBII which is the same as the temp. readout on the radio.

my point being that the amb temp doesnt concern me when I'm in a car with AC and heat. The amb temp is only important to me while driving in so far as how it's effecting my intake temp.

Yes for you it's fine but pple that live in colder area's and I have to worry about frozen roads I like my AMB temp gauge. And AMB has nothing to do with intake or well maybe for most pple that use it anyways.

They seem completely oblivious to the idea. But honestly if their margins are like 25% they sell the kit for around $400.. At cost it would only be $300. Which is still $100 more than the metra kit. Now if their margins are more like 60% then they can probably sell it for around $250 but I seriously doubt this. -You see the Japanese are pretty greedy people. And with the economy at $1USD to 104JPY it wouldn't make sense for them. Back when $1USD was 140+JPY they would probably consider it. Blame it on globalization and the failing US economy!!!!!
