I'm in for 1 as well. Piano Black, Bose Adapter, manual climate control, but no steering wheel controls.

you think $700 is cheap just to replace the dash around the HU? Remember you'd still have to buy a new HU, new speakers if you dont get bose adapter, etc. most other cars can go to frys and spend $30 on a new frame for their HU. insane we have to spend $700.

I have noticed that many of you want the steering wheel control. From what I heard from previous purchasers, it is a waste of money and not very convenient. There is an after market company that makes the module for your RX8 it only costs like $30 dollars opposed to Corksports VERY EXPENSIVE price. I personally will not pay for Corksport's steering wheel control module.

And I definitely need the interested buyers to PM(private message) me with the information that I need.

Thanks,
James

What is it with this obsession with Ford having a financial stake in Mazda USA? The cars are designed and built in Japan...

At 15% off we're looking at $402 a piece for piano black. This is provided you are going all aftermarket (speakers/amps/controls). If you want to keep the Bose system, add about $100.

15% off the website pricing after you choose all your options, and you need to pay for shipping to where ever you are located.

my big thing is I need to know a payment time frame. Two weeks from now I can easily afford it, right this second, I am looking at having to borrow money. But by no means am I backing out. Been waiting on a group buy for this for quite some time.

I understand that, but the 96 Ford's were the first car to have a next to impossible to upgrade stereo as stock equipment, that's what I meant, not whatever you were assuming I meant. It took Metra and a few others over a year to come out with a kit for those, luckily it was only the dash that was a limitation, not the entire radio being tied into other aspects like our's is. Here's an example of what i meant, when these cars (taurus, tracer, escort) first came out all my installer friends were flooded with people wanting to swap out their radios in these and being faced with the same problem we have(minus the a/c etc. mess).

$402 is better. Really wish we had more choices out there, but oh well. I might be able to swing that, but in reality I wish I could find a few people to split the cost with me, I'd love to have one of those kits for the sole purpose of taking it apart and coming up with a cheaper alternative with some help from some industry friends of mine.
