Courtesy Light Removal
Ok guys, I've searched and searched, and can't find how to remove this little buggers! I bought red led replacement bulbs for the courtesy lights in the doors, and the trunk light. I don't understand the round plastic holder they are in. If I use a screwdriver, I can push them in, but then how do you get at the bulbs?
If someone could shed some light on this, you'd be my hero

Umm, use a flathead, and depress the plastic clips. Its a 30 second job per light. The only PIA is the Map LEDs.
I got mine from RX8Strakes...and they had instructions. But it was quite easy.

I removed the door panel to change mine, but I was back there for other reasons too (installing speakers). you should just be able to pull the old bulb out and push the new one in. Theres no trick, but the bulb holders have a habit of falling into the inside of the door and need to be fished out.

it will be very hard without taking the door panel off. your best bet would be to crack open only the lower left corner of the door panel (only two clips hold that corner), and if you have small hands rich in it and put it back into place. Otherwise you have to take off the hole door panel.
While back I needed to see what color cables were going into the light, so I just open that corner by the light and looked in. But there was enough room to work on it too, if I needed to.
Let us know how it goes...
