Crack in dash & sticking window - what to do?
I have had my 2004 for almost 4 years (nearing the end of the warranty period) and just noticed a crack right in the middle of the passenger side of the dash. I searched the forums but don't see any mention of others with this problem.
Has anyone else had this problem & should it be a warranty covered item? I plan on taking it to the dealer Saturday, but I don't have much faith in them being very helpful. I figure I should have some info ammo before confronting them.
Also, my passenger side window chugs when going up like it's sticking. I had the dealer look at it several times and they said it's just something I need to live with. I think this is BS because it's a defect that they apparently can't fix. They threw oil on it tha last couple visits that made it OK for a couple weeks, but it goes back to chugging as soon as the oil wears off.
What can I do to get my window fixed before the warranty runs out? Do I need to compain to someone higher up?

go to a different dealership.
The window shoudl be fixed under warranty.
As for the crack, be prepared that they'll tell you it was your fault somehow. Either way, they might be able to cover it.
