This is one of the few integration kits that has text display from what I understand.

I want to know if it will allow me to scroll through the artists section and allow me to pick any song on my ipod without having to touch my ipod. Will it display the artists as I'm scrolling through them on the text display? What buttons are used to go from music->artists->albums->songs? Basically I want to know if I will have full control of the iPod only using the RX-8 steering wheel/radio controls.

 

I could be wrong...but my understanding is no...it only allows you to navigate through the playlists on the HU.

 

there's one out there that audibly scrolls through artist selection? I'll search again for it but does anyone know about this one?

I just dont want to have my iPod mounted in the car somewhere and have to mess with it to change songs, i feel above that. my car isn't some gadgetron 9000 that's held together with rubber bands....
