do US models have RDS technology...

so we can use this?

http://us.kensington.com/html/11206.html

From searching it looks like UK models may have it, but a little unclear on US models.

I don't think so. Most of the stations here broadcast RDS info, and my HU has never picked up anything. Perhaps it's there, just disabled.

I am positive ours do not pull the RDS (Radio Data System) info.

My Kenwood head unit does and it is nice to have now that more radio stations utilize it. Shows artist name and song title that is playing.

My wife's Grand Prix GXP has it enabled on the stock head unit.

It also reads CD text ours doesn't

Pretty sure it is a function of the radio in the head unit.

So I don't think so.

Can't argue with that even though I don't have one.

It isn't touchscreen.

I do like how it opens and closes though.
