The display that is stock red LCD does any one have a different display for that I heard about this guy having it displayed in a light blue color anyone here of it?

 

Nope. Wouldn't be easy to do either, although I suppose it's theoretically possible to take the unit apart and replace all the red LEDs with blue ones.

 

I was thinking of the same thing but I just thought it would be extreamly diificuilt to pull off

 

It depends. I haven't seen a diplay apart yet, but if the display uses standard LED display pieces, AND if you could find the same size and spec LED displays in another color, then it wouldn't be that difficult to pull off.

But, if the LED display is one solid custom piece (which I suspect is the case, with all of the custom icons it has), then you won't be able to individually replace the LEDs.

the only way to check if i can just change the LED;s simply is by taking a hammer and cracking it open lol (ya right I wouldn't dear do that to my 8) or does anyone know if their is a part diagram thing on the net i'm going to search for it now.
