Exclamation DSC/TCS (car with squiggly lines) light won't turn off.. HELP

So today i got an NRG 2.0 quick release and hub adapter to install a Grip Royal steering wheel. Upon starting the installation, i unplugged the battery to prevent airbag detonation. The install was rather easy but once i went to test drive the new equiptment, i noticed the DSC/TCS (car with squiggly lines) light stays illuminated. i try pressing/pressing and holding the DSC button but nothing changes, no response. I have tried the "turn the wheel all the way right, then turn the wheel all the way left" thing but it does nothing.

I NEED HELP hahaha cannot figure out what's wrong.

Should be off the next time you turn the car on. IIRC, it happens very time you unplug the battery

On a side note, I wana see some pictures! I've been wanting to get a Royal wheel for some time now. Also maybe a mini review?

Re-calibrating the EPS.

Turn the key to 'ON'; fully turn the steering wheel clockwise, then fully turn it counter-clockwise, and return it to center then turn the key to 'OFF'. That should be performed everytime a terminal is disconnected from the battery to re-calibrate the Electronic Power Steering.
