DSC and Traction control panel R and R?
I am wanting to install a switch into the panel used by the DSC and Traction Control, does anyone know an easy way to remove one of the little blanks in this panel?

Drop the plastic panel under your steering wheel, along with the metal support frame. reach up behind the dash and squeeze the very front of the switch panel (you can see the clip you need to press in the photo, theres another one on the bottom. It should easily pop out.
I put a bass **** in mine!

Done....
I just had to pick the hardest one to get to.
Yeah, I Dremel marked the right side next to my new switch a bit too.
When the methanol is enabled, the whole rocker glows red.

how did you wire the switch exactly to have it light when turned on, most of these switchs have 3 prongs on the back. I'm trying to figure out how to wire the switch to turn off the DSC when it is on, but I am not sure how to wire the the other prong on the back to have it light up when turned on?

Mine told me to ground the third wire, but check your diagram.
I need a resistor in the path to ground on mine, I drove at night for the first time last night, and the entire inside of the car glows red when the LED is lit.
If you are going to wire the switch to turn off the DSC when the switch is on(closed), it sounds like you have the switch "off" (open) as opposed to "on" (closed)
Doesn't the DSC have an "off" in this panel already?
Norm.

yes it does but I read a posting on here about wiring in a switch that acts like you are holding the DSC switch in, I think everybody knows by now that holding the DSC in for over 7 sec shuts it off, the switch going between the two bottom posts on the DSC switch an is suppose act like it is closed ,which is what you are doing when you hold the DSC in
or is it the other way around, anyway I guess I can just ground the third post on the switch I plan on putting in
