I got mine installed and all wired up at KDR today. Totally stealth I still need to hook up the fuel pressure sending unit (waiting for a quick connect connector) and all I have at the moment are a handful of PM pictures.

I'll get some daylight photos tomorrow.

I wanna know how you decided to deal with the cables! I can begin to see how you routed them, but am only speculating as to what you did on the other end.
Looks very good from what I can see. Need daylight pics as advertised.

About a 3/4-1" hole in the center of the upper vent approximately 2-3" back.

Used a decent gauged copper wire fished down thru the hole ultimately between the wheel and coin tray.

It was then just a matter of taping the two autogauge connectors to the copper wire and gently pulling it back up thru the hole cut to get the connectors thru.

The autogauge plugs are about 1/4"x 1/2". I could see problems trying to get anything bigger routed.

Yeah, don't know if you ever saw this https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...12174#poststop but my connectors were about 1/2" x 1 1/4" each.
So if I understand where you put this hole and running the cables, you don't have any interference due to the depth of the rotating side vent?

Correct. I do remember seeing your monster connector. Not sure if it would fit. It might though with a little tlc... Doubtful the more I consider the routing job. It might get hung up manking it's way past the lower vent

Yeah, I took the chicken way out!
Would have been a good size rectangular slot, and you know it's tough to get into the area anyway. Guess I could have done so and then found a suitable gromment or lining(if you will) to sort of then close up the hole tight around the cable, but oh well.
Cutting that hole must have been fun!

I took the chicken way too and paid someone (Jordan @ KDR Performance) to do the actual install. I merely supervised and provided commentary

I have been provided ppl the link of how to order the pod, but to some have not read nor check it out....
The reason why i want ppl to check out the link because there is an important note about order and waiting time....
Here is the note that i copied from the site:

Note: Any order from today 05/08/10 will get ship out in 2 week... As i am working far away from home" Nantucket island ,and won't be able to make pods til the weekend.... If you cant wait for 2 week ,please do not send your payment...

If i don't replied your emails pms within few days, please do not panic, as i am working on the island and internet access is very limited... i try my best to reply to all emails and pms as soon as possible..
Thanks
