There is no airbag under the A-pillar trim piece, only the end of the curtain airbag is secured there: https://www.rx8club.com/attachment.p...9&d=1162143688

Either way A-pillar gauges would be effed in an airbag discharge?

I'm confused, thought that was why there was no A pillar gauge pod?

There were some, not sure if they are still available. I remember seeing various pics of these here on the forum.
There are even photos of a self-made one here: https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-do-yourself-forum-73/diy-pillar-3-gauge-pod-209596/

The airbag is no problem: https://www.rx8club.com/attachment.p...2&d=1127489342

I only installed my boost gauge so far so it has an empty pod atm

I will post up pics when I get the AFR gauge in

Came out well. I have the digital prosport gauges so they are bright and this pod puts them right where I want them

Thanks, I love the Speed6. Hopefully I will get one as a daily after this engine/turbo build is paid off. Nice wheels, when are you going to make a center stack gauge cluster or ash tray unit?

I'd definitely consider sending you my oem BOSE center piece for you to test with! I'd have to wait until the winter, though...

Would you need the lotek pod? I was under the impression that you just needed the center piece, and you'd fabricate the pod from scratch?

Don't you think it's kinda too low to look at it?

Well for the occasional look, no. I have the dual pod and I will run FP and OP there, and oil temp, AFR, and EGT in the Lotek pod. Then for the ashtray location I would like to run a second boost gauge and water temp for backup warnings.
