So I tried doing this but I noticed that the circuit on the direct wiring kit from escort is a little too big to fit into that extra switch piece. Can anyone tell me how I can do this like how Pikachu did it? I'm done hardwiring everything but now I just have the mute and leds hanging next to my DSC =(

 

you cant carve out the dead switch at all to fit the circuit?

 

inspect the circuit closely; do you need the entire board?
I had a similar issue with a remote bass controller; ended up cutting off part of the board
