I have ordered the diode from the link above, it appears to work OK today.

funny, i had the same exact problem with mine about two weeks ago when i installed it. The locks would go tap like 6 times everytime id lock the doors, set the alarm, etc. Checked all wiring and it was fine, so i just disconnected it and never got the chance to figure it out. Let me know if you find out any reason or solution

Having read the whole thread, it seems there was originally a version of the kit without the diode (as mine was) and the later version with a diode to install. If your kit didn't include the diode you can order one from RosenthalMazda's link above. I have ordered one and it's with UPS. I'll report back when it's installed.

http://www.finishlineperformance.com...cat=267&page=1 is the thing you want. The other link was just for the diode that wasn't in earlier versions of the shock sensor kit.
