TX Factory Head Unit Question

I dont have the cD changer in my 04' Bose GT but does my 9.50 head unit have the CD changer port? Thanks.

Yeah, a sticky would be nice.

The head units can take an internal single disc CD, or an internal 6-disc CD-changer. In addition to that there is an external CD changer port on the back of the head unit, which is often used for factory SAT radio (if you have the SAT button on your head unit), or to add an iPod integration kit.

On the underside of the radio is a port for either the cassette deck option or the MiniDisc player. There are some iPod integration kits that use this port instead of the external changer port mentioned earlier.

Thanks man, there is a usb mp3 player deal that uses the external port but I didn't want to take out my head unit to find out if I had it.

i have a 6disc headunit if you are interested in swapping out. its pretty straightforward but you need the front face as well, your front face wont work with a different main unit. You can change just the disc unit but thats a little more involved in tearing it apart.
