Final Stereo Upgrade
So this should be the last thing done to the audio of my car, ever.
When I went down to sevenstock this year I had to remove the positive terminal since i was parked inside. At the end of the day when I went to tighten it back up I sheered the head off of the bolt.. yay. It was tight but I new I was going to have to replace the bolt at the very least.
Finally got a chance to take it over to my audio guy, who had done the trunk battery relocation to begin with. I went in just to have the battery terminal replaced and ended up getting a better 4 channel amp and replacing the 6x9's on my rear deck (the last two stock speakers in my car). Also decided to move the sub amp from under the passenger seat to the trunk since my son is now big enough that he's starting to step on it.
I should have some pics up in a few days.
Here's two pics of the current set up
Battery relocation:
custom sub enclosure:
New amp and sub amp will be on a rack next to the battery and the battery's position will be the same but flipped so the terminals are in a better location.

You realize "i'm too sexy for my rotary" now needs to be on the T shirt.

Picked up the car this afternoon. Sound is amazing, switching out the rear 6x9's really made a noticeable difference.
need to go back next week to have the battery covered up, but otherwise this is the end product:
cel phone pictures, so if you want better quality, tough

that's going to look REALLY clean once the battery gets covered up. Nicely done Laythor!
you should grab a quick ziptie for that yellow wire hanging down and you'll be set.

yeah, i think it got knocked down a bit when they removed the little amp that was there. Of course that wire is from the led kit from a previous forum member who went onto BMW's......
