Question Floormat Hook?

Hey guys I was wondering if anyone knows where to get the hook for the floormats? Mine is always sliding forward. I went to my Mazda dealer and the parts guy said they don't make it anymore. Does anyone know how to make one that works well, if there aren't any places to buy them? Thanks.

i made my own out of... dunno what they call it anymore...but its the same thing as jacket buttons. you can get a kit from any hardware store, and it includes a punch and press so you can form the button stays.

look for any thick jacket you may have...like a bombers/flight jacket and you'll know what i'm talkin about.

that said, mine is custom and took me a lil of my own time. but works great and easy removal. if you plan to do the same, plan on other projects where you'll need to drop out the seat if any.

they still make the hooks, your part guy is an idiot.
they should have put it on when you picked up your car.
go back and tell the part guy to look again or speak with a manager.

o, forgot to mention that i've bugged them 2-3 times and just decided to call sales dept. for it. mentioned i've overlooked the PDI sheet and it should've been there.
to make story short...they(thousand oaks mazda/subaru) closed down and out of business. i didn't even have the spare spark plugs used for delivery in my car...
i'd gone in and complain for my set, but unfortunately they even failed to follow up with me for my complimentary first oil change.

one word: bastards!
