Post Front Tweeter Measurement Information and Removal Photos

Following in the footsteps of Spin9k, I've been investigated the front tweeters in my RX-8. However, while Spin9k has gone the route of adding an additional tweeter to cover the high highs (5k-20K), I'm hoping to select a suitable 1" tweeter to completely replace the existing 2" driver. I have a specific 1" tweeter in mind, but while I've made the impedance and phyical dimention measurements of the existing 2" driver, I still need to do a sensitivity measurement in order to know if the levels will match. I've put all the measurement info I've collected and photos of the tweeter removal process up on a web page for those that are interested (images are too cumbersome to post here).

Good intel, nice clear step descriptions. Be sure to let us know any further info you deduce and what your final tweeter speaker selection is. Thanks!
