He can't without breaking the TOS for this forum.
RR please PM the moment you get approval, I don't want to miss out on the first round of ship outs.

Just realized yesterday that my GF's Murano has auto up and down windows.. weird.

Yea, I already invested the start up cost. I don't want to get shut down before I see any revenue.

Great news. I got a reply regarding the group buy. I'm going to send the payment within a few days and we should have this thing rolling by the weekend.

The module I built (wrapped in black tape below) controls the factory sunroof circuit and allows the sunroof to be opened and closed with one touch.

The install takes less then 5 minutes and could easily be done by a trained monkey. Only 3 wires, two of which just attach with a bolt and the third uses a wire tap.

The sunroof can still be opened or closed partially by pressing the opposite button once.
I am confused as to why you would need this mod. I ahve a 2004 RX-8 equipped with the sunroof. Pressing the button on the driver's side causes the roof to open all the way. If the button is pressed again before the sunroof fully opens, it stops at its current position. Pressing it again casues the roof to continue to open to its full-open position. Pressing the driver's side button when the roof is in the full-open position cause the roof to begin to close; if the button is not pressed agian, it will continue until the roof is fully closed. If the button is pressed during the close cycle, the sunroof stops at that position. Likewise, if the button is pressed again, the roof continues to close from its current position.

IT FUNCTIONS JUST AS DEPICTED IN THE VIDEO, WITHOUT ANY MODIFICATION.

IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO HOLD THE OPEN BUTTON DOWN TO FULLY OPEN THE ROOF; IT works just like the driver's side Auto Window button on any car.

Unless something changed after 2004, this functionality is built into the control logic as furnished from the manufacturer.

it does NOT close on its own. Hence the mod...

i think i have heard around here somewhere before that some 04's(maybe from other regions/earlier builds?) auto closed from the factory. what i also heard was that they removed this property as a liability if lil jonny stuck his head out the roof and accidentally closed it.(it apparently did not have any load/voltage sensing safety built into it)

but then again, i could have just imagined i heard this, or it could have been the gnomes in my head who made it up...?

Your car is controled by the debil, kill it!

most everyone else has the normal open auto, close by holding sunroofs. we're lazy and RR makes great mods.

The parts were delivered today. I'm going to check them out when I get home. Hopefully, all the components will work as planned and I can start the group buy.

GB should officially start tomorrow. Just wanted to get a few built beforehand so I could anticipate any problems that might arise.

Awesome. I can't wait. I hate holding the button down to close the sunroof. We are a bunch of lazy Americans asses aren't we?

RR- Can you make a mod that locates and eliminates all of the rattles in my car? I'd pay $1000 for that one.
