Garmin StreetPilot c330
Apologies to all if something like this has been covered. I searched the forums, and was unable to find anything resembling my particular problem. Anyway.
Bought my RX-8 GT last week. Beautiful li'l girl... got 'er with five miles. Up around four hundred some-odd miles now. Lots of fun, to be sure. But, because of the GT part of the title, I need to get out there and actually do some touring. Problem is, my sense of direction is shot, and I can't read maps to save my life. So I went out and bought me a new Garmin StreetPilot c330, and it works excellently. But I want to know how difficult it would be to hide the wires without any (or as little as possible) drilling and/or actual modification to the interior.
Kind of a neat freak, so the power cable hanging out in the open is kinda bothersome, but I can deal with it if needbe. Best Buy has their installation service for around forty bucks, but if Geek Squad is any indication as to how they run things price-wise, well... I don't want to pay forty bucks for something I can do on my own with relative ease.
So... any recommendations from any of you guys oot there? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

hmmm, I wonder what kind of power the Garmin needs. Do you know?
Where do you want to mount it?
I went through something similar with my Radar Detector; I did not want wires everywhere. I ended up tapping a power supply from the overhead lights next to the sunglass holder. Not sure if that's sufficient power for you though and you'd have to route the wires under the headliner and down the A pillar.

From a quick bit o' Googlin':
Power Requirement:
Source: 12/24 Vdc
Usage: 12w max. @ 13.8 Vdc
As far as where I'd like it to be mounted... well, just up there on the center of the dashboard where the in-dash navigation would normally be. When I asked the BestBuy guys how they install it, they said they do it so that the wires are no longer exposed, and that it frees up the cigarette element as it taps into its own power source.
Still... just a bit skiddish about drilling holes and defiling currently pristine quality of everything...
