Mr. Ed, Did you see the pics of my Defi BF Series boost gauge in my other thread about the Greddy Install? That gauge is in white, and yes, it does match perfectly. Now all I need to get is a center dash gauge pod and it will look stock!

yeah after 4 days of reading i finally saw it. i really like the look of it.. i will most likely get that guage for boost and mount it just left of my cluster on the dash. so clean looking! do they make any guages in 52mm the same color, say for an EGT and A/F guage?

The Defi BF series gauges are only in 60mm. I do believe that the Defi Link gauges come in 52mm sizes, but they don't match the dash cluster like the BF series do.

Yup, that's what the rmagic 2 gauge pod was setup to use... two 60mm Defi BF gauges.

speaking of which.. I wonder how much an ashtray cover would be... I may see if MazMart has one.. play around and do a DIY gauge pod down there if I want to expand past 3 gauges.

Not off the top of my head, just goto their website, should be there. Last time I talked to them, they are still working on molds for the production units

Yes, the PTP dash 3 gauge pod is made for 60mm gauges, in their pod they use Defi BF series in white since it matches the dash perfectly if you use the white background for the dash lighting.

Fair enough, and a good find too. Hope it's less than $250... $150 would be reasonable.

PTP, are you reading this? You'd sell a lot of these to people who don't even need them if that was the price point! :D

Yeah Youngpit, Japan8 did a Group Buy on the RMagic stuff a while back, and I decided $500+ for the dash gauge pod was just a bit too dear. But thanks! :D

A quick search on the Autometer Nexus gauges netted this:

http://www.vwvortex.com/artman/publi...ter_1132.shtml

Autometer Nexus Item/ Part Number/ Retail/ ESE Intro Price
Nexus Sensor Module and Remote ATM-6400 $265 $199
Exhaust Temperature ATM-6445 $305 $229
Oil Pressure ATM-6453 $332 $249
Water Temperature ATM-6455 $265 $199
Oil Temperature ATM-6456 $265 $199
Boost / Vacuum ATM-6459 $332 $249
Fuel Pressure ATM-6463 $332 $249
Nitrous Pressure ATM-6474 $332 $249

So I figure about $1000 for 3 gauges and control module. Phew!

Your best bet? Do a car computer hooked up with the Hymee CAN scan tool. I hear the windows interface has awesome looking gauges. Your big "mountain to climb" here is just how to mount the screen. Work that out and you are on your way. :D Something else that might be cool is adding two gauges to the ashtray in addition to the computer... for the times you are looking at the nav screen or something. You could always buy an extra ashtray and try a DIY gauge pod... a good lesson in fiberglass?
