It will have taken 45 days by the time I pick it up on Saturday, but my stereo install is finally complete. Here are pictures of the trunk. One of the subs is missing, because it came broken from the factory (replacement is en route). The subs are JL 8W3v2s, the amps are two JL 250/1s and a JL 300/4. No pics of the lighting yet, but it is provided by two IceLED 6" tubes (you can just see the "eye" for the LED remote control at the top of the enlosure; it looks off center because I was standing off center). At the same time, I had my stock HU relocated and a custom faceplate made to house my Alpine IVA-D300 and EDFC controller. No pics of those, because they wouldn't let me see it (something about maintaining the "suspense" when I pick it up on Saturday). Those pics will be posted here as soon as I have them. Enjoy.

No kickpanels yet. I'm thinking about it, but I need to get 3 way component speakers first. PM sent about the price.

Hey how come it looks like there's a woofer missing in the left side of the picture?Looks like one of the enclosures is empty in the left side.

 

And they are taking their sweet *** time with it, too. I'll probably be driving around with only two working subs for a week or so before JL coughs up a replacement (the third one can't be wired up alone).

 

That sucks because I'm sure it'll sound pretty sweet with all 4 subs pounding! Sorry I missed that on your 1st post. I skim through my reading sometimes. :o

Scud - maybe its just me, but why did you opt for a completely useless trunk? You could have gotten great base out of one 10w6v2 or really awesome with a 10w7. I know you've seen my setup as well, and all the usable space I've still maintained. but again, what was your decision in making a non-functional trunk? Just wanted the sound? didn't care? wanted a show car? I'm not antagonizing or putting the install down...I know what goes into that type of work, and it really does look great. I'm honestly curious as to your reasoning.

A show car system was my goal, hence the giving up of the uselessness of the trunk. I have a 94 Accord that I use for all the practical things in life.:D
