Got my sub amp, ohm questions.
Ok so I finally got a new subwoofer amp and I'm planning on ordering the subs as soon as this question gets answered.
I have the Memphis 16-MC1000D amp. At 2 ohms it outputs 600W per channel, which is what I want for each subwoofer. I'm planning on getting the Alpine Type R 10" but don't know which one to get. They have a 2ohm+2ohm or a 4ohm+4ohm. I looked at the wiring guide on alpines owners manual and came to the conclusion that I need the 4ohm+4ohm and wire it like in the diagram.
I just wanted to make sure I had the right idea.
Thanks guys

2ohm + 2ohm is 1 ohm load, youd have to make sure your amp can do one ohm, 4+4 would yeild 2 ohm load which is what you want.
wish my dayton was 2 ohm instead of 4 ohm ~_~ would make the amp cheaper i have to use a 1,100watt @2 ohm amp to get my desired 600-700wats at 4 ohms

yeah good choice I have 2 of the 4 ohm type R 10"s myself.. sound AWESOME! and your amp IS stable @ 1 ohm - so if you decide you need some more you can get another type R 10 and wire it in the same way and have 1100 watts RMS (still 100 more than you need) and have 2 10"s
