Having Radio Issues, Taking to Dealership
Apart from the fact that every once in while the 6 disc changer decides it doesn't like the cd playing and spits it out, my radio has a new quirk: Doesn't play. Sometimes I'll turn on the car and nothing will come from the radio, just silence. I can change to CD, to FM, to whatever, and it will show it is playing the CD or whatnot, just no sound will come out. All I hear is a really low tone from my subwoofer. It will then randomly begin playing and be good until the car is turned off and then it may or may not start again.
I'm taking it to the dealership and HOPING they can replicate the problem, but my question is should I remove my sub and amp before I take it in? What's the likelihood of them seeing that and saying that's the culprit and not warranty-ing out my work?

yes, remove the amp, sub, all wiring having to do with your amp and sub. if the dealership sees the equipment in there, or the wiring, etc, then they may not work on the car as this ties into the audio system.

Well I took the fuse out of the power wire and went ahead and undid all the other connections. If it still does it now I'll bring it in, like that. If it does it with it unhooked, I don't see how they can blame the sub for the problem. I'll just wait and see.
