Exclamation heater is not working....

so it started since last night, i had my heater on, it was just fine, blowing hot air but all of a sudden it started to blow cold air ( just like when you have your temp. all the way at cold), then i start messing with the temp ****, hot air started to come out again.
when i was driving my car earlier today and i had the temp. **** on all the way hot, cold air are coming out even if my car is fully warmed up. when i got home i started messing with the **** again, hot air comes out for around 2 sec. then cold air for a couple sec. and hot air comes out for 2 sec. again, just like they were taking turns. and you can tell cause the hot air and cold air has a big big big differents.

so my question is, does anybody know what is wrong with my heater?

thanks for reading..

yeah it's messed up - take it to the dealer and they should replace the controller for free.

when it happened to me it took them about an hour to change it out

yeah if you look down about 10 or so threads you would see another thread that already covered this exact problem called "Heater control intermittant/erratic"

they replace the controller thing behind the *****

They will look under your hood because they remove the battery cable before working on it. Mine was replaced this past friday.

Just had mine done a few days ago. Controller unit was replaced, though it took a few days to get it in. Got a loaner in the meantime, so no biggie. Let us know how it goes!
