help for cheap system

hey im trying to help a friend out.. what would you recomend for someone who wants to spend like 400-600 on a system... box subs amps and wires... i was looking at jl but not quiet in his budget.... then looked at some alpines since i heard good things about them.... sugestions?

you can do kicker comp vr's, directed amps, and if you want to take a trip to delaware, i can save you on the tax too

haha i was looking for your opinion lurch, trip to delaware.. hm should be fun.. ill tell him see what he thinks about that lol

My advice as always is Go Ebay. If you're cheap like me, it is definitely your friend. Don't be afraid of customer returns, etc. You can get some of that stuff so cheap and guaranteed to work out of the box that, even if it fails in a year (only happened once in my experience so far) I could buy it two times over before I approached MSRP.
