Help with interior wiring!
Ok,
So I replaced all my interiors with blue led's, and installed some courtesy blue led's under the rear-views, and a switched led lighting system (6 blue led's) under the hood to show off the engine at night, and give me some light on the dipstick so I can get it back in in darker situations.
Now, I want to put in some courtesy lights under the passenger & driver side dash. I don't want these on all the time, I want them to be on when the interior lights are on only. The only problem is that I can't find the wire that goes to the lights in the doors. There is (on the pass side, under the kick panel) a lot of wires that look like they are heading up into the door pass-through. I went through what I think is all of them, found 4 wires that are green with a thin red stripe (this is the power for the courtesy lights in the door), and tapped into each of them, but they are all continuous power, none of them turn off when the courtesy lights turn off.

My problems:
1. I want the floor lights to turn off/on when the rest of the lights do.
2. I don't want to have to fight with the pass through. (meaning I don't want to pull power from the door panel lights and snake it back through the door pass when the wire i need is already on the other side.
Has anybody done this install, and know what wire I need to pull from? Thanks in advance2. I don't want to have to fight with the pass through. (meaning I don't want to pull power from the door panel lights and snake it back through the door pass when the wire i need is already on the other side.

No Prob...
The courtesy lights follow the usual format, powered all the time, with the "on" switch being the ground. The timed dimming is taken care of by the "keyless entry module", by the heater blower in the passenger side footwell.
The wire to look for is green/black and is in a corner of the six-pin connector to the Key module. Power your lights from the "room" fuse then ground to this wire. The module will act as a ground to turn your leds on, then gradually build resistance to dim them to off.
Hope that is what you needed,
