help my 6 cd changer wont load cds

hello i just bought a 2003 rx8 but i have a problem with my 6 cd changer it wont load cds but when i turn my key to on i can hear the changer work he is trying to search an cd but there are non in it and i cant or dont now how i van load 1 in it i pushes the load button and my display says cd in but it wont go in
