Help Sub questions

Ok im interested in getting a sub prolly just 1 12'' prolly a jl w3. I had the idea to remove the back peice of the center console that goes to the trunk pressing my sub against that and then maybe putting a piece of fiber glass or something in the place of the piece. Has anyone done anything like this. Also is a 12'' jl w3 a good choice and if i shouldnt set it up like i said because it does sound hard what should i do.

Any extra advice or comments will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
Ryan

W3 is a good sub. a 12" tho...? Might want to cut that to 10" and free up some extra room. As far as the box, sounds hot to me. This has been done before so it is no new chore. I would recommend firing the sub at the back windshield or the very rear of the car.

And yes, it will sound hard :D
