so i checked out the sticky and other threads, but none of which have mentioned how to link up to the stock unit.

can someone help me out?

I have my aftermarket Amp and subs and wiring kit from my old car and I REALLY want to install it in the 8, but have no clue where to start with this head unit.. or do I tap the RCA cables in the rear speakers? How do I do that?

 

Get a line to rca converter...tap in before the bose amp in the back. There should be a sticky on which wire to put/splice into. Use the search feature because there is plenty of how to's for the job.

 

Yea, there is a whole thread in the DIY section for this. It does not look like fun.
