How to install preamp to head unit
How difficult is it to plug in a preamp input for my sub's amp into the head unit. Also does the head unit have the necessary inputs...I need a left, right and 1preamp wires. I just don't want to scratch up the dash. I want to put my jeeps bazooka 8 "sub and 200 watt amp in the trunk.

Tap into your rear speaker wires (left and right) for the inline converter. Dont worry about taking out your head unit. You can tap into your rear cig lighter for the remote power (not main positive wire). I ordered my inline converter, but they are common at local radio shop. PS Your left rear speakers wires are tricky, the colors are pink and purple I think, anyway I wired them backwards first, and it didnt hit good. Sorry I cant rember which is positive and neg, but I remeber it was backwards from what I assumed, seems like the lighter color was actually negative.

to answer an old question just incase someone else searches for it. The positive wire is green and the negative wire is black.
