How to take care of interior...

Does anyone have suggestions about what to use to clean and protect the door trim, dash, and leather seats in our 8? There are many different products out there but some may damage the material because of strong chemical.

Any suggestions? or experiences? Please share.

Thanks

303 Aerospace Protectant

I wipe down those areas each time I wash the car with the same rag I used on the outside of the car. It usually has just the right amount of soap to clean the dust and dirt off any exposed surface. Then remove any soapy residue with a clean moist rag.
Monthly, I use a product called 303 Aerospace Protectant. It is safe for most surfaces within the car, and, if you believe the hype, protects better than most surface treatments. It can be found by doing a web search and at most marine supply stores. Boaters swear by the stuff, so it can't be all bad. It's not cheap, though, so be prepared to shell out $12-14 for a 16oz. spray bottle.
If you're interested, they offer samples at their website. Give it a try!

Browse through the Show/Shine forum--which is where I expect the mods to move this thread--but there are plenty of suggestions there. I use Meguires NXT interior trim for Vinyl, rubber , plastic on the inside. On the steering wheel, shift **** and seats I either use Lexol or Meguires Leather Foam cleaner/conditioner. I'll try a different brand when I run out of this--but I really like the Meguire's. For the Piano Black inside I just use a dry cloth to buff it to a shine--thats all it needs, if it needs to be clean try and use a little water then buff to a shine. Same with the aluminum trim inside.
