HU Carpc Control!! Steering wheel control of CarPC!

Couple this unit with the PIE Mbus unit from Mazdaparts.com and you can control tracks and pull audio for your CARPC, this is a USB device! I'm going to see if Thew of Mazdaparts will carry this to sell with the PIE if people want it.

http://www.indashpc.org/new/adapters/usbmbus.html
here is the Mazdaparts.com PIE you need:
http://www.mazdaparts.com/ProductDet...000-1112606399

"Direct sound connection will ensure the best sound quality non compromised by FM transmitter or cassette adapter.
Control your Car PC or laptop directly from the MBus capable car stereo (head unit) or via external MBus adapter. Switch between playlists, genres, artists, albums or favorites.
Choose different plugins with different behavior for WinAmp or any other multimedia software (not exists at the time).
Just plug the device into the back of your stereo or MBus car stereo adapter and connect it to your Car PC via USB cable. Play back any multimedia track you have on your PC ! "

"Compatibility

Third party car adapters
P.I.E. ***/PC-ALP adapters ( where *** could be HON, VW, BMW, TOY etc )"

I contacted the company about buying them for Mazdaparts.com but they required a huge buy in and no sample for me to test

I can email them again and see if there are any modifications to their policies, they seemed overwhelmed by the interest in the product they were selling .

I guess if you have the PIE already installed and order this, if you don't like it you could sell this unit on Ebay

btw it does say it works with PIE

Cool isn't it? Just think... you could also program it so that changing discs cycles through the major programs you use... Audio, Nav, Video...

Jbors is also talking about making a Ford/Mazda version as well... no need for PIE. He is doing Honda/Toyota right now...
